Made from 100% Tallow and the option of herbal and botanical infused varieties! Tallow’s fatty acids are similar to those in our skin, so this balm absorbs easily and protects your skin’s natural moisture barrier. Tallow contains bioavailable vitamins A, D, E, & K, so it nourishes as it softens. Gentle enough for even the most sensitive skin, it’s best applied to slightly damp skin, and you’ll notice the difference from commercially produced products right away!
Our first infused tallow balm is made with a base of pure tallow infused over many hours with organic calendula, chamomile, and plantain!
Calendula is probably the best well know of the herbs for its significant anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and antimicrobial properties. It soothes and helps reduce redness and irritation while working with the tallow to support your skin’s moisture barrier.
Chamomile similarly is known for its anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and antibacterial properties. It reduces redness and irritation, as well as helping to maintain moisture balance and cleanse the skin, and even has anti-aging and skin brightening properties.
Plantain is also a botanical well known for being anti-inflammatory, but it also hydrates and moisturizes the skin, soothes itch, redness, and irritation, gently helps to remove dead skin cells, and its astringent properties help to minimize the appearance of pores and control excess oil for a clearer, cleaner, brighter, and more radiant complexion.
